At The Troc, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Adult Care Worker to join our team. This is a rewarding role that requires empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable individuals.
About the Role:
In this position, you will work closely with residents to understand their unique needs and preferences, promoting independence and dignity at all times. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with personal care tasks, such as bathing and toileting, as well as helping residents with mobility issues and providing emotional support during difficult times.
Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, be physically able to perform the demands of the job, and have a basic understanding of infection control procedures. You will also need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and demonstrating initiative in your daily tasks. Additionally, you should have a strong ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional development. As an employee of The Troc, you will be part of a dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality care services to our residents.
