Your expertise will be essential in managing data comprehensively, sourcing energy sustainably, and reducing carbon efficiently. By doing so, you'll enable our clients to control costs effectively, make authentic ESG disclosures, and improve their business performance while powering their journey to net zero.
Key responsibilities include:
* Performing regular validation runs to identify billing errors and challenging them as necessary
* Supplier account management, ensuring payments are correctly allocated and debt positions are managed
* Analyzing and querying historic billing to recover overcharging, including site investigations if necessary, delivering savings against target for contract income (shared savings)
Assisting with the management of new metering, including site scheduling, and supporting the maintenance and data collection of metering portfolio once up and running. You'll also be responsible for adding/removing supplies from relevant MOP and DC contracts.
As an Energy Management Specialist, you'll be expected to read and comply with the company Health & Safety Policy, possess excellent communication skills for dealing with customers, contractors, and other team members, and be skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel and computer literate. Experience within a finance accounts role would be beneficial.
