We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facility, while providing exceptional customer service to our staff, visitors, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and respond to security alarms, including fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems
- Conduct regular security patrols of the site, including external and internal areas, to prevent unauthorized access and detect potential security threats
- Manage keys, perform locking and unlocking duties, and conduct routine tests of security equipment
- Issue visitor and contractor passes, handle lost property, and maintain accurate records
- Provide support and guidance to staff, visitors, and contractors, while ensuring the safeguarding of the premises and adherence to health and safety procedures
- Operate radios, pagers, clocking equipment, and other physical security equipment, and investigate incidents and report on suspicious activities
- SIA Licence (preferably Door Supervisor)
- CCTV Licence (preferred but not essential)
- Access to a vehicle or good transport links
- RTW and 5-year checkable history
- Experience in retail, events, or roles involving interaction with the public
- Confident and vigilant
- Good customer service and conflict management skills
