About the Role

We are looking for a skilled System Designer and Developer to join our team in Bristol. As a key member of our software engineering directorate, you will be responsible for the design and development of Command-and-Control architectures for our next-generation Air Defence Systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with experience working across the entire software development process from requirements to automated testing. They will also be familiar with C++, Ada, and other programming languages.

Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of DDS middleware, Real-Time Operating Systems, and standards such as DefStan 00-55, DO-178C or IEC61508. They will also be able to work effectively in small teams, taking initiative and contributing to complex problem-solving.
