About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Control Engineer to join our team at INEOS Acetyls in Hull, UK. As a key member of our process automation team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing process automation techniques, including process control, safety instrumented systems, and distributed control system hardware strategies.

As a Process Control Engineer, you will work closely with our global technology development and support team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our chemical processes. You will have a strong understanding of chemical engineering processes and be able to provide plant commissioning support, maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements within the process automation field.

We are looking for someone with DCS/SIS engineering experience, including Honeywell TPS/Experion control system and FSC/SM safety systems, gained while working on continuous refinery/chemical processes. Honeywell DCS hardware knowledge, fault finding, and troubleshooting are essential.
