Holtec International, a global leader in nuclear energy, is seeking a highly skilled Radiological Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for leading the development of radiological protection, radioactive waste management, and fuel and core safety cases for our SMR-160 small modular reactor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers producing radiological protection and safety case documentation
  • Develop and implement integrated waste strategies for light water reactor power stations
  • Design and manage gaseous, liquid, and solid radioactive waste management systems
  • Collaborate with regulators to explain safety cases and supporting substantiation
  • Support team development and participate in interviews
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in an engineering or science related discipline
  • Excellent credentials in principles of radiological assessments
  • Ability to work independently and balance competing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Eligible to work under 10 CFR Part 810
Desired Experience:
  • Experience in nuclear fuel performance and assessments
  • Experience in chemistry considerations of PWR primary circuit
  • Experience with environmental cases for nuclear facilities
