About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Process Safety Professional to join our team at TRS Staffing Solutions. This high-profile project requires a skilled individual to ensure the safety of the battery materials production process by identifying and mitigating potential hazards throughout the lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Review process design documents, including P&IDs, to ensure adherence to safety principles.
  • Participate in project meetings and effectively communicate safety considerations to engineers, operators, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant legislation and standards for battery material production.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of process safety management (PSM) principles.
Qualifications:
  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Process Safety Engineer in the chemical or related industry.
  2. A strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies (LOPA, FMEA, etc.).
  3. Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety.
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
