Job Title: Manager, Installation Management

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Installation Management to join our team at Set2Recruit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the grid connection process with DNOs and IDNOs, assisting with tech-enabled grid control systems, and exploring innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the grid connection process with DNOs and IDNOs, ensuring seamless integration of renewables, EV charging, and digital energy management.
  • Assist with the design of LV and HV electricity networks, utilizing software such as WINDEBUT, IPSA, and others.
  • Analyze electricity networks for connections applications, including self-determination of point of connection for LV and 11kV connections.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, DNOs, IDNOs, and ICP drawings and applications to DNOs and IDNOs for connection offers.
  • Support the ICP tender process.

Requirements:

Candidates must have vast experience in LV and HV electrical distribution network design, NERS design approval experience with DNO, IDNO ICP, and experience using WinDebut, IPSA, ELEK cable, HV, SafeGrid.

A self-starter attitude, not requiring direct supervision, is essential. Extensive knowledge of the connections processes and associated standards (CCCMS, ECCR, etc.) is also required.

This role is focused on LV and HV distribution network design rather than building electrical installations subject to BS7671.
