Drama Cover Supervisor Job Description

Location: Brentwood

Salary: £70-£130 per day

Contract Type: Full-time

We are seeking a motivated and confident individual to supervise drama classes in the absence of the regular drama teacher. As a drama cover supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring students remain engaged and on task during their lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans
  • Support students in their learning
  • Manage behavior in accordance with school policies
  • Encourage student participation and enthusiasm for drama

Requirements:

  • Strong interest in drama
  • Ability to maintain a positive and controlled classroom environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals considering a future career in teaching or education. The drama cover supervisor will work closely with other staff members to support the smooth running of the drama department and ensure students have a high-quality learning experience.
