Job Title: Renault Parts Advisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Renault Parts Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our Aftersales team, you will be responsible for managing the supply of parts to our workshop, sourcing parts on time, and pre-picking ready for jobs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to all parts enquiries in a knowledgeable and efficient manner.
  • Qualify trade customers, identify their needs, and successfully manage their expectations.
  • Monitor stock levels, manage re-order processes, and ensure accurate identification of customers' needs using parts catalogues and computer stock lists.
  • Undertake inventory checks to ensure all parts ordered are delivered and are the correct parts needed, managing any discrepancies with suppliers.
  • Record and book out all parts as per workshop process.
  • Complete all administration relating to returns as soon as possible and return to the manufacturer.
  • Participate in the annual stock check.
  • Liaise with Nissan Parts team on parts technical issues when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Ensure workshop efficiency is maintained through effective stock management.
  • Have experience managing stock in a busy and demanding environment, with previous experience of a parts operation and stock control procedures advantageous.
  • Be people-focused, with the confidence and personality to develop customer, supplier, and team relationships.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely via telephone, email, and face-to-face.
  • Have good attention to detail under pressure.
  • Have good organisational skills to manage extensive stock inventory, with the ability to develop a good understanding of commercial priorities and anticipate need requirements.
  • Be IT-literate with knowledge of Dealer Management Systems.
  • Be able to work effectively within a team environment and perform under pressure.
  • Be proactive, able to work on own initiative to achieve personal and team targets.
  • Have a good technical awareness or understanding of cars and parts desirable.
  • Be honest with high levels of integrity.
  • A full driving license is required.
