HFG Insurance Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Claims Adjuster to join a leading Lloyd's Syndicate in the City of London.
About the Role
We are looking for a Claims Professional with experience handling Casualty Reinsurance Claims, ideally on a Quota Share basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing claims across different accounts and classes of business, utilizing various platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate with brokers, clients, and third parties to adjust claims according to company guidelines, authority limits, and regulatory requirements.
- Represent the Syndicate in the market by attending meetings, supporting underwriters, and participating in industry events.
- Provide guidance to Claims Adjusters, address issues, and escalate any necessary improvements to management.
- Collaborate with actuaries and underwriters, as well as setting case reserves, will also be part of your role.
- Investigate claims, ensure policy conditions are met, and negotiate resolutions.
- Work with brokers to address missing information and pursue recovery from third parties when necessary.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience handling Lloyd's & Company Claims using ECF and a strong understanding of the Reinsurance market.
