This is a nursing and residential care home that provides a supportive environment for residents to thrive.

To be considered for this position, you must be a qualified Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

As the Deputy Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and inspiring the team to deliver exceptional care and experiences to residents, promoting choice and independence.
  • Achieving the highest possible standards of care and enhancing the resident experience, ensuring adherence to company policies, regulations, and care plans.
  • Working with the Home Manager to implement care home policies around standards of care, staff welfare, and training, and developing an excellent reputation.
  • Developing personal relationships with residents, their relatives, and visitors to enhance the quality of life.
  • Deputising in the overall management of the care home, including producing reports, budgets, and quality of life monitoring.
  • Taking responsibility for the health, safety, and welfare of yourself and others, including colleagues, residents, and visitors to the Home, and alerting officers to any hazards or potential risks to health and safety.
  • Ensuring team members attend training days and courses to maintain learning records and individual development.

The following skills and experience would be beneficial for the role:

  • Experience of managing a team, ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place for efficient running.
  • Experienced in quality and clinical governance programmes, including audit and care services.
  • Able to support and guide others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times.
  • Experienced in working in the healthcare sector.
  • Driven and motivated, with a passion for quality care.
  • An inspiring leader who can motivate teams through obvious passion and commitment.
  • Proud to be a custodian of residents' well-being.
  • Passionate about offering superior services and making a difference in everything done.

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £48,000 per annum, along with a range of benefits, including free learning and development, free DBS, paid breaks, and 28 days paid holiday.
