Horticultural Manager Job Description
ECG Limited is seeking a highly skilled Horticultural Manager to oversee the maintenance and development of its diverse estates. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of horticulture are maintained, implementing best practices, and coordinating with maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of estates to identify and address any issues related to plant health, pest infestations, or landscape structures.
- Implement comprehensive planning programs to ensure the estates are maintained to the highest standard.
- Oversee day-to-day horticultural tasks, ensuring all activities are carried out with precision and excellence.
- Monitor and manage irrigation systems to ensure all plants, lawns, and green spaces receive appropriate hydration.
- Provide weekly feedback to the management team, detailing completed tasks, anticipated challenges, and upcoming projects.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Horticulture qualification or at least five years of experience in a Head Gardener, Estate Manager, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of plant care, landscaping techniques, and team management.
