Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Claims Handler Loss Adjusting to join our team at Lawes Consulting Group. As a Claims Handler Loss Adjusting, you will be responsible for supporting our experienced loss adjusters in their daily tasks, managing domestic and commercial property claims, and conducting investigations on a case-by-case basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with loss adjusters to assist in their daily tasks.
- Manage domestic and commercial property claims, ensuring all necessary information is collected and paperwork is completed.
- Conduct investigations on a case-by-case basis, determining liability and negotiating settlements.
- Participate in pertinent conferences to explore new prospects and cultivate relationships with brokers, insurers, suppliers, and third parties.
- Support the broader team in nurturing relationships with key partners and accompany experienced adjusters on site visits.
Requirements:
- 2 years' experience managing property claims.
- Proficiency in general and legal insurance principles.
- Possession of a full UK driving license.
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory and legal frameworks.
- Customer-centric mindset, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, and capability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative.
- Flexibility to meet tight deadlines and targets, coupled with solid organizational skills and proficiency in computer usage.
- Capacity to efficiently manage one's schedule and workload, meeting deadlines with precision, and ability to remain composed and resilient when under pressure.
