About the Role

Purolite, an Ecolab company, is seeking a Senior Chemical Engineer to join our UK RD&E team. As a key member of our Process Development team, you will contribute to the successful commercialization of new products designed for manufacturing in regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work alongside chemists to design and develop processes for functionalization of resins as part of the NPI process, with scale-up of products from lab scale through pilot-plant to supporting full-scale manufacturing.
  • Collect and use data to make recommendations for critical process parameters and process safety considerations.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for scale up, record data and comply with quality standards.
Requirements
  • Degree or Advanced degree in a chemical engineering or related discipline.
  • Demonstrates use and application of standard chemical engineering, project management, and other relevant principles, theories, concepts and techniques to assignments where precedents may exist.
  • Provides solutions to a variety of problems which require collecting and analyzing data from diverse sources to solve problems.
  • Demonstrates initiative and open-mindedness to identify and try new and different approaches.
  • Contributes to the research and development of differentiated technology, products, processes and systems.
