Join Our Team as a Senior Chemical Engineer

Purolite, a leading company in resin-based separation, purification, and extraction technology, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Chemical Engineer to join our team in Llantrisant, Wales.

As a Senior Chemical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and commercialization of new products designed for manufacturing in regulated environments. You will work closely with chemists to design and develop processes for functionalization of resins, scale up products from lab scale to pilot-plant, and support full-scale manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement process development strategies to support the introduction of new products into manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with chemists to design and develop processes for functionalization of resins.
  • Collect and analyze data to make recommendations for critical process parameters and process safety considerations.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for scale up and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Degree or Advanced degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in process development and commercialization of new products.
  • Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles, project management, and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
