About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Senior HSE Engineer to join our team at MatchaTalent. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) performance across our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Develop and implement effective HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
    • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks.
  • Training and Development
    • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for employees and contractors on HSE procedures and protocols.
    • Provide guidance and support to ensure that all personnel understand and adhere to HSE standards.
  • Incident Investigation and Reporting
    • Investigate and analyze incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
    • Prepare and submit incident reports to management and regulatory authorities.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and engineering, to ensure effective HSE management.
    • Communicate HSE information and updates to employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, safety, or environmental science.
    • Professional certifications, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Environmental Professional (CEP).
  • Experience and Skills
    • At least 8 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
    • Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
