Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Contract Scotland Limited is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will work on the Eastern Green Link 2 project in Peterhead, a high-profile power sector project that will unlock the rich renewable energy capacity of Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee commercial management, cost control, and budgeting to ensure the project's financial success.
  • Provide financial reports and procurement strategies to support the project's objectives.
  • Conduct cost analysis and identify efficiencies to optimize project costs.
  • Administer contracts and manage subcontractor relationships to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Offer advice on contractual issues, manage disputes, and mitigate risks to protect the company's interests.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in the civil engineering or power sector, with a strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and collaborative working skills.
  • Professional accreditation (RICS, CIOB) is a plus.
