Accounting and Payroll Specialist

ProTalent is a well-established accountancy firm seeking a skilled Accounting and Payroll Specialist to join their team in Lewes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure smooth and effective payroll services to a large client portfolio.
- Day-to-day administration of client payrolls, including RTI submissions and end-of-year reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide a comprehensive service to clients.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3-4 years relevant payroll experience, ideally in a bureau setting but open to industry applications.
- Knowledge of IRIS/payrite & xero systems.
- Competent in the use of Excel and Word.
- Ability to communicate effectively with third parties such as HMRC, GMB, Unison, and pension providers.
We offer a competitive salary of approximately £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including:
