Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Event Readiness Specialist to join our team at Sporting Equals. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of the Women's Rugby World Cup 2025.

The salary for this position is £62,500 - £72,500 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-profile event and contribute to the growth of women's rugby. As Event Readiness Specialist, you will be responsible for researching, planning, and facilitating readiness and simulation exercises for the tournament.

  • You will work closely with various stakeholders, including the Local Operating Company, venue management teams, and external partners to ensure seamless execution.
  • Developing and implementing plans for desktop scenarios and simulations, both online and in-person, to test operational readiness.
  • Collaborating with the Programme Management Functional Area to track and monitor outcomes, actions, and lessons learned from exercises and simulations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A proven track record in delivering all elements of readiness activities, including desktop scenarios and simulations.
  • Experience working on major events with a detailed understanding of operational requirements and challenges.
  • Excellent written and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
