Senior Patient Care Manager

Job Overview
The East of England Ambulance Service requires a dedicated leader to oversee the delivery of patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the general day-to-day running of the locality in conjunction with the Local Area Manager and Team Leaders.
- Focus on staff welfare, operational productivity, and efficiency, and best utilisation of available operational resources.
- Lead a team of clinicians, Team Leaders, and other support staff to provide safe, effective, caring, and responsive services.
- Ensure coverage at multiple work settings, including response duties to 999 calls and incidents, A&E Departments, and ambulance stations.
Requirements
- HCPC Registered Paramedic or equivalent Nurse/Allied Health Professions registered with a relevant governing body.
- Managerial qualification or equivalent experience, demonstrable experience of working in a supervisory role, or above.
- Full UK manual driving licence with C1 category and no more than 3 penalty points.
Desirable Criteria
- NARU Operational Commander Course acquired within 12 months.
Skills & Knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication with the ability to adapt styles and messages to match the situation and audiences.
- Ability to assess situations and make decisions quickly and confidently.
Experience
- Mentoring and clinical supervision experience.
- Experience of working in highly pressured situations while remaining calm and effective.
- Experience of managing a team.
