Operations Analyst Job Description

Are you a process improvement enthusiast looking for a challenging role in a dynamic organization? We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Analyst to join our team at Markel International Services Ltd.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Analyst to support our Wholesale operations team. As an Operations Analyst, you will play a key role in implementing process improvements and identifying opportunities for incremental improvements within existing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Operations Director in delivering Wholesale operations strategy
  • Work with Wholesale underwriting, claims, and support teams to find opportunities for process improvement
  • Develop and maintain operational KPIs
  • Support Operations with business issue analysis and resolution
  • Conduct and support regular process review activities, updating documentation where necessary
Requirements
  • A track record of process improvement
  • Experience or qualifications in Lean Six Sigma methodologies would be beneficial
  • A strong ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • A hands-on approach, with high energy levels and self-motivation
