About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at Motability Operations Ltd. As a Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in transforming and optimizing our pricing strategies and residual value risk management.

Reporting into the Analytics Lead, you will leverage advanced analytics techniques to create valuable insights that will improve our decision-making and processes. You will work closely with the business to identify areas for improvement and develop data-driven solutions to drive business growth.

The company has invested significantly in its data strategy, and this is an exciting opportunity to help grow and establish a new Analytics function. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of technologies and data science techniques to create a platform for your personal growth and career development.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Translate business problems into requirements, projects, and solutions
  2. Leverage advanced analytics to optimize business processes and decision making
  3. Execute the delivery of insights via reports and data visualization
  4. Proactively provide data-driven recommendations to the business for key decisions
About You

We are looking for a highly analytical individual with a strong interest in data and analytics. You should have:

  1. An analytical mindset and enjoy figuring out how and why things work
  2. Keen critical thinking skills and creativity to look at problems from a unique perspective
  3. A strong interest in data and analytics with a passion for learning and self-development
  4. Commercial awareness and a keen interest in how the business operates
Core Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A numerate degree that demonstrates strong mathematical and modelling/statistical skills
  2. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  3. Intermediate SQL and Python skills, with Advanced Excel skills
  4. Experience of model building, data visualization, and/or process automation
