Job Title: Specialist Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our Reablement team in social care. The successful candidate will work on a project secondment, covering a team of professionals working on rehabilitation and reablement projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience in setting up therapy programs, working with care agencies, and collaborating with carers. We are open to candidates from various backgrounds who have transferrable skills in rehabilitation or reablement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement therapy programs for individuals requiring rehabilitation and reablement support
  • Collaborate with care agencies and carers to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Conduct observational assessments and provide recommendations for minor adaptations
  • Work effectively in a hybrid environment, with one day in the office per week
  • Be able to drive own car for visits and assessments
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in reablement or rehabilitation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
