About the Role
The Tower School is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Autism and complex needs to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet the diverse needs of pupils with Autism
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless support and care for pupils
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these
- Provide regular feedback and encouragement to pupils, promoting a growth mindset and a love of learning
- Work closely with parents and carers to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Requirements
- QTS/QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience working with pupils with Autism and complex needs
- Strong knowledge of SEN legislation and policies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
