We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work in a Special School in Epping. This full-time contract role offers an excellent opportunity to support students with special educational needs, assisting them in reaching their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other staff to ensure a positive learning experience for students, helping them to engage fully in school life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom support for students, both one-on-one and in groups.
  • Assist in adapting learning materials to support diverse learning needs.
  • Foster a supportive and encouraging classroom environment.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
  • Support students' social, emotional, and academic development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills with a patient and empathetic approach.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with students.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
