Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to lead our safety initiatives and champion a "Safety First" culture across our processing plants in Nottingham and Leicester.

This role offers a unique blend of strategic oversight and hands-on operational management, reporting directly to the Recycling Director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Development: Shape and steer the H&S strategy across multiple sites, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Operational Execution: Directly manage day-to-day safety operations, ensuring compliance with all H&S legislation, enhancing our safety systems, and leading our safety team.
Requirements
  • Degree in a relevant field preferred; IOSH membership and NEBOSH qualification essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading H&S initiatives and cultural change programs.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Proficient in managing complex stakeholder relationships.
