Job Title: Procurement Specialist

We are working with a leading prestige motor vehicle restorer looking for a Procurement Specialist to join their team. As a thriving firm filled with classic car enthusiasts, our client has an international brand offering high-end restorations across the world.



This role will start with buying and managing stock to ensure smooth running and continuously opening avenues for our client from a procurement point of view.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and manage our client's inventory and stock, working within set budgets to each project
  • Manage the materials, parts, and consumables
  • Source niche parts through UK and European markets
  • Manage all customs and logistics documentation
  • Work in partnership with the project managers, technicians, and senior leadership team regarding stock, delivery dates, and suppliers
  • Negotiating with existing and highlighting new suppliers
  • Organisation of stock, storage, and parts for the firm


Requirements:


  • Previous exposure within Automotive procurement
  • A passion for high-end or classic motor vehicles
  • Previous experience working with a stock management database
  • Proven exposure highlighting and negotiating with existing suppliers to get best prices
  • Previous exposure working with a range of suppliers
  • Naturally a confident communicator with the ability to build internal and external relationships
  • A natural problem solver
