Trainee SENCO Opportunity

An outstanding primary school in Redbridge is seeking a Trainee SENCO to join their team in January 2025. This is a full-time and permanent position, paid directly through the school.

The school currently has a fantastic SENCO who is also the Deputy Head Teacher. However, after a role change, they have decided to appoint a trainee SENCO who will work under the Deputy Head Teacher.

The successful candidate will support and lead SEN interventions, work with professionals, complete EHCPs, report to SLT, provide training to support staff and teachers, and more.

This is an out-of-class role, but the candidate may be asked to cover absent teachers in required situations. The school is willing to pay for the successful candidate's SENCO qualification.

The school is looking for a primary teacher who is eager to venture into the world of SEN and has a real passion to make a difference daily. They are keen to mould someone and help them grow and develop.
