Cybersecurity Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:

The Assurance Automation team at Man Group is responsible for ensuring robust security controls across the business. As a Cybersecurity Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in establishing and documenting security controls, ensuring their relevance and effectiveness. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing a controls maturity framework, managing test cases, and creating interactive dashboards in PowerBI. You will also be responsible for generating comprehensive reports and analyzing large datasets to identify trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate external security assessments, including Red/Purple team exercises.
  • Maintain, develop, and refine management reports to ensure timely and accurate information.
  • Document and manually test existing security controls, identifying candidates for automation.
  • Map existing controls to industry standards (ISO, NIST) and/or industry-established frameworks (MITRE).
  • Contribute to the improvement of policies and processes, ensuring they are aligned with industry best practices.
  • Assist with audits and reports, providing expert advice and guidance.

Requirements:

  • 3 years' experience in InfoSec, with a strong understanding of security controls and frameworks.
  • Educated to degree level, with a focus on computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Experience with PowerBI and Python is desirable, but not essential.
