Burlington Primary Care, a successful and well-established primary care practice, is seeking an experienced Clinical Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide essential support to our GPs and clinicians, enabling them to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work within the practice protocols and guidelines as directed by the lead GP clinician from the on-the-day team.
  • To perform routine administration and clinical tasks on behalf of the GP, freeing up their time to focus on patients.
  • To take initial history taking and general observations from patients in their own homes or in the surgery.

Requirements:

  • GCSE grade A-C in English and Maths
  • Experience of working in a healthcare setting

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a busy primary care setting, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to identify their own learning needs and those of direct reports, with sound knowledge and experience in using the relevant clinical IT system.
