About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gas Supervisor to join our team at United Living. As a key member of our infrastructure services division, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality gas installation, servicing, and maintenance services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of Gas Engineers and Apprentices to ensure the delivery of exceptional service and quality workmanship.
  • Carry out service, repair, commissioning, and maintenance work on heating and gas systems as required.
  • Self-manage and arrange workloads/schedules to attend to emergency calls and jobs escalated from engineers.
  • Conduct routine inspections and quality control checks on U/L engineers and sub-contractors.
  • Work closely with the Gas Manager to ensure all training needs and staff development are met through appraisals and quality control checks.
  • Cover for the Gas Manager, attending contract meetings, health and safety meetings, and other important events.
  • Stay up-to-date with current gas regulations, manufacturer's updates, and Gas Safe technical bulletins, and deliver information via toolbox talks, presentations, and on-the-job training/development.
  • Liaise with clients and residents to assist the Gas Manager in resolving complaints, correspondence, and client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Arrange monthly meetings with apprentice mentors and apprentices to discuss progress and address any issues.
Requirements
  • Full Domestic ACS qualifications, including SMSTS (desirable).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, and Word.
