About the Role

The Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance, calibration, and repairs are conducted correctly and on time by contractors. This includes ensuring that all external contractors working on site are advised of the safety requirements and they perform all duties in a safe manner in line with company processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise high-risk tasks such as working at height, confined space, and live electrics both in-house and contractor work.
  • Ensure that all machinery/plant and calibration database records are maintained and kept up to date at all times, to enable others to access any data required.
  • Record all part numbers/supplier details to enable prompt ordering of spares.
  • Implement and follow service schedules.
  • Manage emergencies, diagnose problems, and carry out repairs while prioritizing workload.
  • Identify efficiency solutions and provide recommendations.
  • Respond quickly and safely to breakdowns to ensure maximum safety for users.
  • Create and implement maintenance SOPs where required.
  • Perform general building/site maintenance and housekeeping.
Requirements
  • The ability to solve problems and use initiative.
