The Role

We are seeking an experienced individual to join our Middle Office team as an Operations Specialist. This role is critical to the firm's success, ensuring timely, accurate, and thorough execution of trade support and portfolio valuation functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day support to the Portfolio Management and Execution desk teams.
  • Focus on operational control, including reconciliations, aged trade, and confirm monitoring.
  • Work closely with counterparties and fellow team members to ensure trades are confirmed and settled.
  • Act as a liaison between prime brokers, fund administrators, and internal firm groups to minimize trade discrepancies.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline existing processes and implement new ones to enhance the trade lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of middle office experience, preferably with a hedge fund or sell-side firm.
  • Understanding of various macro products, including Fixed Income & OTC derivatives, FX & FX Options, Equity/CFDs, and ETD.
  • A keen eye for detail, a curious mindset, and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork.
  • Be detail-oriented, organized, and able to adapt to fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrable Microsoft Excel and VBA skills.
  • Operate with the highest degree of ethics and integrity.
