About the Role

Gunzilla Games is seeking a highly skilled Lead Audio Programmer to join our team and contribute to the development of our AAA Battle Royale 2.0 third-person shooter, OTG. As a key member of our audio team, you will be responsible for leading the development of high-quality audio systems and ensuring seamless integration with other game components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the audio team in the design, implementation, and maintenance of audio systems, including 3D audio, sound effects, and music.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and producers to ensure that audio systems meet game design and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain audio tools and pipelines to support the game development process.
  • Work closely with the tech art team to ensure that audio assets are properly integrated into the game.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in audio programming for games, with a strong background in C++.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience in managing audio teams and projects.
  • Strong understanding of audio algorithms, data structures, and software design patterns.
  • Experience with audio middleware and game engines, such as Wwise or FMOD.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
