A leading manufacturer of high-integrity forged components is seeking an experienced Production Planner to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a computerized planning system, liaising with production departments, and managing orders from receipt to dispatch.

About the Role:

  • Implement and maintain the planning system to ensure departmental production schedules, forecast sales, and customer update information are up-to-date.
  • Liaise daily with production departments to ensure plans are maintained or issues are reported and addressed promptly.
  • Manage orders from receipt to dispatch, including communication with NPI teams and processes prior to production.
  • Collaborate with the wider production control team to ensure all ancillary functions are kept at an appropriate standard, including stock control, management of sub-contractors, and continuous improvement projects.

What You'll Need:

  • Experience in planning workload on production equipment with excellent communication skills and strong IT skills.
  • A good understanding of metal forging techniques and knowledge of the effects of hot working metals and associated metallurgy.
