Fusion Consulting Group is a multi-discipline consulting practice assisting entrepreneurial businesses and private clients by delivering end-to-end solutions throughout their business journey. As a Chief Accounting Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in leading the accountancy function within our Surrey office in Egham.

About the Role

Reporting to the Managing Partner, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the accounting function, acting in a strategic capacity to coordinate and drive delivery. You will need to be technically proficient and have extensive experience with all accountancy-related matters at a senior level.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and networking skills, as you will be a leader of the office for both clients and colleagues. This role requires you to manage and drive quality, risk, compliance, and regulatory matters and standards. You will also be responsible for delivering complex client projects, including financial DD and structuring.

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead the review of accounting requirements for a portfolio of SMEs.
  • Manage and drive quality, risk, compliance, and regulatory matters and standards.
  • Deliver complex client projects – including financial DD and structuring.
  • Represent the company's capabilities to new clients and build relationships to contribute to practice growth.
  • Manage the personal tax returns of the client portfolio.
