Main Purpose:

The Regional Courier Engagement Co-ordinator will play a key role in supporting the overall 'Courier First' recruitment and retention strategy. This involves working closely with local services centres to maximise courier handover, in line with the region's specific targets.

The position will be responsible for ensuring all recruiting and onboarding processes are in place and adhered to. This includes supporting the local sites to improve their courier engagement and retention rates through a number of proactive initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

Act as a key point of contact for new couriers, identifying pain points, resolving issues, and promoting a positive working environment that encourages high performance and commitment. This includes supporting the courier briefing and debriefing processes at defined intervals, conducting regular check-in calls during day 1, week 1 and month 1, and helping to analyse and understand issues that impact courier engagement and retention.

Using insights from these sessions to inform operational teams to help develop solutions to solve problems, increasing courier satisfaction, and enhancing overall service quality. This also involves reviewing and analysing feedback collected at point of training and onboarding to identify opportunities for improvement to help support the retention of courier resource.

Experience Required:

Previous experience of working within a customer service or administration environment, either face-to-face or via telephone, is essential for this role. This experience should have provided the necessary skills to work effectively with customers and colleagues, and to identify and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
