Toolroom Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Toolroom Engineer to join our team in Rugby, Warwickshire. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining can forming tooling and ensuring a smooth production process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing tools for front-end production
- Prioritising rework tooling based on daily production needs
- Identifying and reporting potential tooling shortages or risks
You will also be responsible for measuring and controlling tooling, inspecting and measuring tooling, making tool packs and size change tooling, controlling ring grinding processes, and performing grinder maintenance and upkeep.
The ideal candidate will have a manufacturing background in high-speed, high-volume continuous processes and experience with Health and Safety work practices. You should be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
The estimated salary for this role is £45,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
