Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician Specialist

At Austin Fraser, we are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of £42,000 per annum.
About the RoleWe require an individual with strong mechanical and electrical knowledge to perform routine maintenance, servicing, and inspections on coaches and vans. The successful candidate will have experience in maintaining complex vehicles and possess excellent diagnostic skills.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with regulations through regular servicing and inspections.
- Repairs & Diagnostics: Identify and repair mechanical, electrical, and system faults using manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- MOT Preparation: Prepare vehicles for annual MOT tests, adhering to company and DVSA standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
