As a key member of our editorial team, you'll be responsible for driving our culture and lifestyle coverage, working closely with our Head of Culture and Lifestyle to develop and implement our editorial strategy.

Your key responsibilities will include writing engaging features, commissioning and editing exciting content, and leading on coverage of books, theatre, and art subsections. You'll also be responsible for running the department in the Head of Culture and Lifestyle's absence, helping to manage and nurture our in-house culture team, and securing interviews with public figures in the arts.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a deep understanding of the arts, excellent contacts spanning the book, film, TV, music, comedy, and theatre industries, and the ability to spot trends and formulate original ideas across culture and lifestyle. You'll also need to be a confident and experienced leader who thrives under the pressure of working in a fast-paced newsroom.
