Job Overview

The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing projects from the point of sale through system design, client acceptance, and delivery. This role involves working closely with the Projects Director to ensure successful project fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Design
    • Design systems based on project requirements using standard products and innovative solutions.
    • Produce engineering drawings and documentation for client approval.
  • Manufacturing Support
    • Provide detailed project documentation for the manufacturing process.
    • Support production staff during the build and test phases.
  • Acceptance Testing
    • Attend and host Factory Acceptance Testing events to ensure systems meet client specifications.
  • Post-Delivery Support
    • Assist clients during installation and support Commissioning Engineers during Site Acceptance Testing.
    • Offer ongoing support throughout the systems lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Visio, and possibly AutoCAD.
  • Technical engineering qualification in electrical/electronic engineering or relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in a similar role or through education.
