About the Role: This is a permanent, full-time position working on day shifts from Monday to Saturday. You will be working in a state-of-the-art dialysis clinic with the most technologically advanced equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care: You will be responsible for delivering individualized care to patients undergoing dialysis, promoting patient-focused care and ensuring the highest standards of care are met.
- Mentor and lead team members: As a Senior Dialysis Nurse, you will be responsible for mentoring and leading a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Provide safe haemodialysis treatment: You will be responsible for providing safe haemodialysis treatment in line with patient prescriptions, ensuring the highest standards of care are met.
- Work collaboratively: You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, external organizations, and hospital trusts to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Lead shifts: You will be responsible for leading shifts, ensuring that the highest standards of care are met and that the team is working effectively.
- Promote effective communication: You will promote effective communication at all times with patients, users, and providers to the service, ensuring that the highest standards of care are met.
- Adhere to company procedures: You will adhere to company procedures, guidelines, and policies, and assist in the implementation and review of these procedures.
- Develop knowledge and skills: You will continuously develop your knowledge and skills relevant to delivering high-quality patient care to renal patients.
- Evidence-based practice: You will demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based practice and assist in the evaluation of evidence to improve and develop patient care.
Requirements:
- Renal nursing experience: Renal nursing experience is desirable, but not essential.
- Good communication skills: Good communication skills are essential for this role.
- Flexible and adaptable: You will need to be flexible and able to adapt to change.
- Good interpersonal skills: Good interpersonal skills, friendly and outgoing, are essential for this role.
- Able to work effectively in a team: You will need to be able to work effectively within a team.
Benefits:
- Excellent salary: You will receive an excellent salary of £35,791 - £36,630 per annum, depending on experience.
