Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Helicopter Electrical and Avionics Expert to join our team at CV-Library. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of safety and performance in aircraft operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct routine and non-routine maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs as directed by the LAE Supervisor.
  2. Lead a team of engineers to ensure compliance with operational standards and certification requirements.
  3. Perform maintenance on a wide range of aircraft systems, with a focus on avionic and electrical systems.
  4. Replace and test avionic line replaceable units (LRUs) to confirm serviceability and airworthiness.
  5. Supervise avionic and electrical fitters, certifying their work and ensuring compliance with operational standards.
  6. Undertake off-aircraft technical work on avionic and electrical systems.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience and expertise in helicopter avionic and electrical systems, with hands-on maintenance and repair experience.
  2. Strong understanding of specialized test equipment for avionic and electrical systems.
  3. In-depth knowledge of CAA regulations, including Pt 145 and Part M Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM).

Estimated Salary

The salary for this role is estimated to be £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
