Helicopter Electrical and Avionics Expert

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Helicopter Electrical and Avionics Expert to join our team at CV-Library. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of safety and performance in aircraft operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and non-routine maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs as directed by the LAE Supervisor.
- Lead a team of engineers to ensure compliance with operational standards and certification requirements.
- Perform maintenance on a wide range of aircraft systems, with a focus on avionic and electrical systems.
- Replace and test avionic line replaceable units (LRUs) to confirm serviceability and airworthiness.
- Supervise avionic and electrical fitters, certifying their work and ensuring compliance with operational standards.
- Undertake off-aircraft technical work on avionic and electrical systems.
Requirements:
- Proven experience and expertise in helicopter avionic and electrical systems, with hands-on maintenance and repair experience.
- Strong understanding of specialized test equipment for avionic and electrical systems.
- In-depth knowledge of CAA regulations, including Pt 145 and Part M Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM).
Estimated Salary
The salary for this role is estimated to be £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
