We are seeking a proactive and caring Support Worker to join our team at Home Care Direct in the Worcester area. Our client is a 45-year-old gentleman who requires support with everyday tasks due to memory problems and epilepsy resulting from a brain injury.
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling our client to be more independent and achieve his potential. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting our client with attending appointments and shopping trips
- Providing general help around the home
- Helping our client to keep his diary up-to-date
- Ordering and organizing medication
This is a part-time role, requiring 14 hours per week, over 3 days, including alternate Sundays. You should be flexible to cover sickness and holidays when needed. No personal care is involved in this role, and drivers are not essential, although our client has a motability vehicle that you will use.
Please note that we are unable to offer positions to anybody requiring sponsorship.
