Highly Skilled FPGA Designer

As a Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) Design Engineer at Innovate Recruitment Ltd, you will play a vital role in designing and developing safety-critical firmware for nuclear propulsion plants.
Salary: £35,000 to £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
About the RoleYou will become part of a talented team responsible for creating cutting-edge firmware solutions using agile SCRUM methods and state-of-the-art toolsets. Our ideal candidate will have a degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, with experience in hardware engineering and digital electronics design.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing requirements, architectures, designs, and HDL code for controls firmware applications, adhering to a DevOps-based lifecycle. This will involve obtaining high-level firmware requirements, writing VDL and Verilog HDL code, simulating HDL designs, conducting synthesis and analysis, implementing change control, and collaborating with Software, Systems, and Electronic teams.
