Job Title: Analysis Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Analysis Analyst to join our team at Big Fish Little Fish. As a key member of our IT/Data function, you will play a critical role in leveraging data insights to drive business decisions.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain financial models to support management decision-making and reporting.
  2. Lead the development of business performance forecasting and reporting capabilities.
  3. Design and implement data architecture to support reporting and analytics.
  4. Prepare and analyze financial and non-financial data to inform business decisions.
  5. Produce high-quality reports using Power BI to deliver actionable insights.
  6. Identify and address gaps in data collection processes.
  7. Develop expertise in various tools and software, including SQL, Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Dynamics.
  8. Support colleagues in using developed reports and tools.
  9. Perform other ad-hoc responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  1. High level of commercial acumen and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  2. Experience with Power BI, DAX, and Power Query is essential.
  3. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially MS Excel.
  4. Fundamental understanding of database language (TSQL).
  5. ETL processes understanding and basic knowledge of data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  6. Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or Mathematics.

Desirable Skills

  1. Programming skills in Python or R for advanced data manipulation and statistical analysis.
  2. Experience with big data tools, such as Hadoop, Spark, or BigQuery.
  3. Experience with data warehousing.
  4. Data governance and compliance awareness.
