Regulatory Team Administrator

Buzzacott is seeking a diligent Team Administrator to provide reliable daily administrative support to our Professional Support Compliance team.
The Compliance team plays a significant role in our organisation, providing valuable insights on regulatory and legislative matters. They collaborate closely with all departments across the company.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting the Compliance Administrator in examining data from our AML database (IRIS) and the firm's practice management database (Practice Engine) using Excel.
- Conducting checks that involve reviewing Companies House filings, running PEP and sanctions checks, and other electronic reports, followed by thorough analysis.
- Uploading the most recent data into the AML database once the relevant checks have been carried out.
- Collaborating with the Compliance Administrator in managing the digital onboarding process, including distributing identification links and collecting required information.
- Efficiently and accurately processing new clients, reviewing existing clients, ensuring client records are updated and supporting documentation is suitable and filed correctly within the AML database, providing updates to the Compliance Administrator and Senior Manager in a timely fashion.
- Setting up clients on the practice management database, adhering to agreed procedures, including anti-money laundering procedures.
- Gathering data from different sources and systems.
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Compliance Team and enhancing their workflow to increase efficiency.
- You have previous administrative experience.
- You possess strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and reporting techniques.
- You have a solid academic background, including A-levels and GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
- You have experience working within an accounting/financial services regulatory environment or fast-paced environments.
- You are a team player with excellent attention to detail and great communication skills.
