We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Practice Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and support our healthcare team at Holmhurst Medical Centre.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional to make a positive impact on patients' lives and contribute to the success of our medical centre.
The successful candidate will have experience in nursing and a valid NMC registration.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide and maintain a high standard of nursing care for patients.
- Assist senior nurses, GPs, and other healthcare team members as needed.
- Administer adult and child immunisations and vaccinations.
- Undertake procedures such as venepuncture, basic wound care, and spirometry.
- Work within practice policies and guidelines, including infection control and patient group directions.
- Initiate diagnosis and manage programmes of care for patients with chronic diseases.
- Contribute to a satisfactory call and recall system of patients.
- Work collaboratively as a team member to achieve NHS contract objectives.

Holmhurst Medical Centre is a purpose-built modern building with a pharmacy on site, located on the edge of the Surrey countryside. We are a member of a PCN and Dorking Healthcare Federation, with a list size of 10,200 patients. We are a training practice with a CQC rating of Good and consistently high QoF achievement.
