Mobility Equipment Specialist

This role presents an exceptional opportunity to work with a leading provider of Healthcare Services in the Surrey and North East Hampshire area. As a skilled Mobility Equipment Specialist, you will play a vital part in ensuring that individuals with mobility needs receive the necessary support and equipment to enhance their quality of life.
The successful candidate will possess a strong background in clinical and technical skills, with the ability to assess the mobility needs of adults and children with complex requirements. Your technical expertise will enable you to prescribe manual and powered wheelchairs, as well as associated posture management and pressure management accessories.
As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with service users, clinical colleagues, and operational staff to deliver high-quality service performance. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide clinical and technical guidance will be essential in this role.
In addition to your technical skills, you will possess excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise tasks effectively. Your analytical and problem-solving skills will be valuable assets in this position, as you work to resolve complex mobility issues and improve service user outcomes.
The successful candidate will be registered as a Clinical Technologist or with the HCPC as a Clinical Scientist and hold a full current UK driving licence for a manual transmission vehicle. You will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
